ZenFlow account deletion

Delete your ZenFlow account

This page explains how to request deletion, what ZenFlow removes, and what can remain outside the active account.

Request deletion

  1. In ZenFlow: Open Settings, choose Account, select “Delete account,” and confirm. This is the direct authenticated path.
  2. Without app access: Email zenflow.app@gmail.com from the address connected to your ZenFlow account when possible. Support may need to verify that you control the account. Never email a password, sign-in code, recovery link, journal text, or another secret.

What deletion removes

  • Your ZenFlow authentication record and ability to sign in with this app account.
  • Account-linked ZenFlow data held for the account, including synced moods, habits, focus sessions, journal content and media, gratitude, reminders, and settings. After server deletion is confirmed, ZenFlow clears this account’s isolated data area on the current device. If the app reports that cleanup did not finish, restart it before using another account.

What can remain

  • Copies already saved on another phone, browser, or computer are not remotely erased from that device. Clear ZenFlow’s app or browser data on each other device you control.
  • Feedback previously sent to ZenFlow is stored separately and is not removed automatically with the app account. Use the email path above if you want support to review a related deletion request.
  • ZenFlow retains a minimal, content-free deletion safety record to prevent a deleted account from being restored through normal sync or replay. It contains no journal text, mood notes, habit names, focus notes, gratitude text, or feedback message.
  • Deleted account records may remain temporarily in database recovery copies until those copies are replaced on the provider-managed recovery schedule. They are not available through normal ZenFlow use. For the current maximum recovery window, email zenflow.app@gmail.com.
  • A reminder already accepted by a notification provider or displayed by a device may remain in that device’s notification history. Remove it from the device’s notification center.
  • Your Google, Apple, Facebook, or Telegram identity-provider account is not deleted. Manage that provider account separately if you want to change or remove it.
